Reliability Analysis and Design of Non-pillar Continuous Mining in Underground Metal Mines

Gu Desheng,Deng Jian,Li Xibing

Strategic Study of CAE 2001, Volume 3, Issue 1,   Pages 51-57

Abstract:

A high-efficient one-step mining method, Non-pillar continuous mining (NPCM), was originally put forward and carried out in a copper mine in Anhui Province, southeast of China. Reliability theory was employed to analyze the stability of the critical structures, including temporary ore wall and backfilling in substope of NPCM, which was completely different from the traditional analysis method, the deterministic value analysis method. Anti-overturning and strength limit state equations for temporary ore wall in NPCM were derived, and reliability index (β) and safety factor were calculated. The relationship between the reliability index and width of the temporary ore wall were shown. Further, this paper established a 3-D limit state equation of back-filling in sub-stope of NPCM. Using the 3-D limit state equation the safety factor of backfilling in substop and its reliability index were obtained.

Strategic Study of CAE 2023, Volume 25, Issue 5,   Pages 146-156 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2023.05.013

Abstract:

Coal machinery is crucial for the technological transformation of coal mining and the coal production system. Driven by the carbon peaking and carbon neutralization goals and the wave of intelligent coal mine construction, China’s coal machinery industry will transform and upgrade toward intelligence, green, safety, and efficiency. Opportunities and challenges coexist in the coal machinery market, and development of intelligent technologies and machinery for coal mining has become an urgent demand. This study is based on the development reality in China that intelligent coal mining is still in its early stage and sorts out the current status and trends of intelligent technologies and machinery for coal mining. Moreover, it analyzes the key technology system of intelligent coal machinery, covering intelligent coalmine equipment support, intelligent fully mechanized mining and caving, intelligent rapid excavation, intelligent perception and control of main/auxiliary transportation systems, and coalmine robot technologies. Moreover, development directions are proposed, including key basic materials and advanced processing techniques, flexible manufacturing and virtual simulation, equipment remanufacturing, deep fusion of 5G with industrial Internet, industrial big data and artificial intelligence, intelligent perception and interconnection by the Internet of Things, and cyber-physical and digital twin systems. Furthermore, we suggest to strengthen breakthroughs in intelligent technologies and machinery for coal mining, improve the talent support system, emphasize both plan guidance and industrial layout optimization, and establish an innovative ecosystem for coal machinery research and manufacture, thereby promoting the high-quality development of coal machinery.

Overall design and realization of selectivity leakage protection device in mines

Sun Yukun,Zhu Zhiying,Huang Zhenyue,Tang Ping

Strategic Study of CAE 2012, Volume 14, Issue 7,   Pages 93-97

Abstract:

A novel selective leakage protective device in master-slave structure was proposed where dsPIC30F4012 was the master controller and PIC16F877A was the slave processor. The device used the principle of additional DC power supply in main feeding switch to examine the occurrence of the leakage and used the principle of direction of zero sequence power in branch feeding switch to judge the faulty line. The hardware diagram and the software flow chart of protective system were given and RS-485 bus and optical fiber communication technology were adopted. It could improve the action capability and anti-interference capability of the leakage protective device for power supply system in underground, and the experimental results confirmed the protection device proposed had good performance.
